'Call of Duty: WW2' updates: Nazi Zombies mode, character description revealed

After Sledgehammer Games announced the development of "Call of Duty: WW2" in April, more details about the game are beginning to surface.

Previous reports claimed that the upcoming first-person shooter video game will feature the return of Nazi Zombies that first appeared in Treyarch's "Call of Duty: World at War" based on the promo image of the game.

Based on the press release posted by Activision, the game's brand-new Nazi Zombies Cooperative mode will bring a surprising, all-new storyline complete with an adrenaline-pumping experience.

Sledgehammer co-founder Michael Condrey chatted with Games Radar to offer more information about the game, including its upcoming contents and storyline.

According to Condrey, they planned to create the story of "Call of Duty: WW2" based on actual events that happened during the World War 2. However, he also claims they want to recreate the story with a unique twist.

"Our squad is First Infantry, but it's twelve men and their journey, so it's very unique and we have a story that interacts with the Bridge Troops and connects into the liberation of Paris, that was unique to telling the story we wanted to tell," the Sledgehammer co-founder stated.

Condrey also talked about the upcoming characters of the game aside from the French Resistance woman named Rousso.

According to Condrey, there will be a German family, as well as two sisters. They will also introduce a British officer named Crowley and an African-American officer. "You'll see some powerful performances by the men and women who sacrificed, families that were involved," the game studio executive also stated.

"Call of Duty: WW2" is slated to be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on Nov. 3. It will have a Pro Edition that can be purchased for $99.99 and a Digital Deluxe Edition for the same price.
