An inter-conference preseason game will take place at the Coors Events Center as the Chicago Bulls pay the Denver Nuggets a visit this Thursday. 

The Bulls opened their preseason with a 105–95 win over the Milwaukee Bucks and will look to make it back-to-back when they take on the Nuggets. 

The ever improving Jimmy Butler together with second-year forward Doug McDermott paced Chicago in the absence of stars Derrick Rose and Pau Gasol as they scored 23 points each. 

Without Gasol, another international star stepped up as forward Nikola Mirotić tallied 18 points, eight rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one block. 

Meanwhile, the Nuggets already have played two preseason games this 2015, losing the first against the Los Angeles Clippers (103–96) but winning in their second game last Tuesday facing the Dallas Mavericks (96–86). 

The game against the Bulls will be the first for the Nuggets in their home state of Colorado after playing their first two on the road. 

The seventh-overall pick in the 2015 draft, point guard Emmanuel Mudiay, led Denver against the Mavs with 17 points, one rebound, five assists, and one steal. 

Mudiay is very consistent so far in the preseason as he also had a good performance in their first game when they lost to the Clippers.

The 19-year-old had 14 points, two rebounds, three assists, and one steal when they played against Los Angeles. 

Despite the great numbers, an aspect of Mudiay's game that must be observed against the Bulls will be his turnovers. 

Mudiay had eight turnovers in their game versus the Clippers and in their win over Dallas had seven. 

Along with the rookie, another interesting player heading to the game against the Bulls is veteran guard Mike Miller. 

Miller was signed recently but in two preseason games has not played yet. It is a question if Nuggets head coach Michael Malone will use him against the Bulls.
