The firefighters will find themselves in the middle of a tense standoff in the upcoming episode of the hit NBC series "Chicago Fire."

In "The Sky is Falling," CarterMatt reports that Chicago will be the target of a series of threats that puts the citizens on a state of terror. When news of a mass shooting reaches the firehouse, the squad goes out to help in anyway it can. What the members will not see coming is that they will be stuck in the middle of a very dangerous scene. As their friends attempt to extricate them from the holdup, the firefighters will learn exactly how a simple situation can escalate in a blink of an eye. Will they all come out alive?

Meanwhile, Lt. Casey (Jesse Spencer) is still up to his elbows trying to track down the missing money in the fund raising for the tornado victims. Chicago was previously hit by the force of nature that caused major damages throughout the city. Casey was conducting a routine investigation, when he discovered that the temporary lodgings for the victim were falling apart. He also encountered Alderman (guest star Armand Schultz), who suggested he attend a fundraiser. The lieutenant did not realize that he was being reeled in to have someone of authority conduct a probe on the mysterious disappearance of the money.

Elsewhere, Brett's (Kara Killmer) problem regarding Chili's (Dora Madison) unreliable behavior continues. Last episode, she even asked Dawson's (Monica Raymund) help to bring the situation to the higher ups. They told Boden (Eamonn Walker) that Chili has become a liability to her team, and that no matter how many times she had called her attention, the paramedic still refused to change.

Also in episode 13, Firehouse 51 has picked its representative to the very first boxing match tagged "Battle of the Badges." For his first fight, Jimmy (Steven R. McQueen) will take on the warrior of the 21st district police department.

"Chicago P.D." season 3 airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. EST on NBC.
