Golf champion Bubba Watson is praising God after winning his second Masters jacket in three years.

The 35-year old Christian beat Jonas Blixt, Jordan Spieth, and other top players to clinch the title at 8-under par. Watson first won a green jacket in 2012, beating Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, and finally Louis Oosthuizen in a sudden death playoff. Watson is only the 17th golfer to win more than one Masters tournament.

He also tweeted: "I want to thank everyone for the support, encouraging words & congrats that have poured in this week! I feel incredibly blessed."

Despite his accomplishments, Watson is more interested in being a witness for Christ than a flashy celebrity.

"[Christian rapper] Lecrae said it the best," Watson told BillyGraham.org. "He doesn't want to be a celebrity. He doesn't want to be a superstar. He just wants to be the middle man for you to see God through him."

The golfer frequently discusses his faith in interviews and on social media in order to minister to others.

"For me, it's just showing the Light," Watson said. "There's people who want to put down Christians. I try to tell them Jesus loves you. It's just a way to be strong in my faith."

While on the PGA tour, Watson even led weekly Bible studies.

"It's a way to get back connected with the Bible and with God and Jesus," Watson stated. "Now you know other people you can talk to, ask questions to, tell them what you're thinking, tell them what's going on in your life."

He and his wife, Angie, are also dedicated to philanthropy and community service. The Watsons have donated to the Phoenix Children's Hospital and other organziations over the length of his career.

"My hope in giving back is that others would be inspired to do the same, but in their own way and for causes that they care for deeply," Watson writes on his website. "Together we can all make a difference in the lives of others."

Watson is expected to play in the next major men's golf championship, the U.S. Open, slated to take place June 9-15 at Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina.
