"Body Party" singer Ciara and her new husband Russell Wilson, who plays the quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks, are truly enjoying wedded bliss.

Ciara was interviewed right before she performed at the Apollo in the Hamptons Night of Legends event on Saturday night, and she was asked how she is enjoying married life.

"Everything is sweet, we are so happy," the 30-year-old singer told Page Six. "This is really the happiest I have ever been."

The two enjoyed a surprise and secret wedding in front of 100 close friends and family at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, England. It was an amazing feat how the couple managed to pull it off, and Ciara credited the surprise to trusted friends.

"We looked at a venue in the U.S., but we also looked abroad, and the castle in England just seemed magical, and perfect. We have good friends around us so everyone kept the secret," she said. "The wedding was like a fairy tale."

Ciara said at the moment Wilson is off getting ready for the upcoming NFL season.

Wilson and Ciara's relationship made headlines last year after they announced that they would be abstaining from sex before marriage. "[Ciara] was on tour, and I was looking at her in the mirror, and God spoke to me. He said, 'I need you to lead her.' I told her, 'What would you do if we took all that 'extra stuff' off the table, and just did it Jesus' way?" Wilson said during an interview with Pastor Miles McPherson of The Rock Church.

After almost a year of dating, Wilson finally proposed to Ciara with a huge 16-carat diamond engagement ring while they were on vacation in the Seychelles just this March.
