The quarterback issues do not seem to end for the Cleveland Browns as original starter Josh McCown is officially out for the remainder of the 2015 season after being placed on injured reserve with a broken collarbone.

McCown fractured the collarbone in their 33–27 defeat to the Baltimore Ravens last Monday, which was their sixth consecutive loss.

Before leaving the game, McCown completed 21 of 38 passes for 212 yards and one touchdown, also getting sacked once.

The 36-year-old was not even designated to start against the Ravens, since head coach Mike Pettine announced beforehand that Johnny Manziel was set to be their starting quarterback for the game.

But Manziel's behavior during their bye week, which involved the surfacing of a video of him partying and lying about it, caused him to be demoted as the team's third string quarterback. McCown was then given the starting nod.

Now that McCown is out, it is uncertain if Manziel or Austin Davis, who played well replacing McCown against Baltimore, will start at the quarterback position this Sunday when Cleveland takes on the Cincinnati Bengals.

Davis did an exceptional job against the Ravens after McCown injured his collarbone and had seven completions for 77 yards and one touchdown, although he was sacked once.

Because they are shorthanded at the quarterback position, the Browns signed quarterback turned wide receiver Terrelle Pryor who was with them during training camp but was unable to make the final cut ahead of the 2015 season.

Based on the report by the Associated Press, it is likely that Pryor will have two roles with the Browns, being a part of their receiving group and being the number three quarterback.

The Browns are currently last in the American Football Conference (AFC) North with a 2–9 record and are again bound to miss the playoffs for the 13th consecutive season.

Faith is often accompanied by uncertainty, yet it is in stepping forward that we encounter the power of God. The Israelites learned this at the Jordan River, where God performed a miracle only after they demonstrated obedience.
