CM Punk no-show as AJ Lee returns to WWE RAW Monday night and wins WWE Divas Championship

Amidst the pregnancy rumors that surrounded WWE Diva Aj Lee, she returned to WWE Raw Monday Night and fought for the WWE Divas championship. And what a comeback it was, she is now the new WWE Divas Champion.

Lee went to the WWE and talked to Paige, the former WWE Divas Champion. And what started as a decent dialogue ended in a good ol' championship wrestling bout.

According to CageSideSeats, Lee said "Paige ... Look, I just wanted to come out here and say that you're right. This isn't entirely easy for me to say, but you're right. I mean, you did what no woman in almost a year could do. You proved me wrong. You proved everyone wrong. And I know the kind of person I became. I let success go to my head. And, granted, I was the longest reigning Divas champion of all time. But I shouldn't have rubbed it in everyone's face like I did. I thought I was untouchable. And you gave me the slap of reality that I needed. So I wanted to return the favor. And say thank you and congratulations."

Right after Lee won the championship, the fans cheered and chanted "CM Punk" repeatedly. Sadly, CM Punk was a no-show. It was reported days ago that CM Punk and Lee got married and that Lee is pregnant, which is why Lee hasn't returned to the WWE for a while now.

CageSideSeats also reported this rumor, stating, "She married CM Punk on June 13 and is all moved in with him in Chicago, but now word making the rounds is they are settling down to have a family. If true, she may be gone for good. But, again, even with the disclaimers, we need to make extra clear that this hasn't been confirmed anywhere just yet."

Surely, Lee's return will put a stop to the pregnancy rumors. She wouldn't be wrestling if it was true. But what about CM Punk? Well, he's been busy tweeting his musings like "Sick of people telling me I don't do anything. I just watched 40 hours of Game of Thrones." He doesn't appear to be thinking of going back to the WWE soon.
