Love has a funny way of affecting people. In the case of Jinger Duggar from the TLC show "Counting On," her siblings noticed that she changed a lot after meeting her current fiancé Jeremy Vuolo, who plays goalkeeper for the San Antonio Scorpions.

During Tuesday night's "Counting On" Season 2 premiere episode entitled "A Courtship Begins," Jinger's younger sister Joy noticed that Jinger had never looked so happy.

Their elder sister Jessa, who is now married to Ben Seewald and expecting their second child, added that Jinger and Jeremy's courtship is an exciting development after all the scandals that rocked their family last year.

"Coming out of last year, it's always exciting when something like this comes up, and it's a new beginning and something to look forward to," she said.

Other Duggar kids also said that Jinger has not been herself ever since she and Jeremy became a serious couple. For one thing, scatter-brained Jinger now always keeps her belongings in check.

"She used to be the worst," noted eldest Duggar girl Jana. "She never knew where her phone was. Now she never loses it! You can totally tell that she's in love."

As for Jeremy, he also changed a lot even before he fell in love with Jinger. InTouch previously reported that the soccer player actually had a criminal past.

He was previously arrested for "acting belligerent and shouting obscenities" at a police officer. He was charged with harassment at the Oneonta Police Department. Vuolo was released to a friend after the incident after he paid a $250 fine for his actions.

Instead of staying mum on the matter, Jeremy owned up to what he did and expressed hope that there are better things in store for him in the future. "I was part of the college party scene and was living foolishly," he said. "I'm not perfect, but I sought out accountability and I now see great victory in my life."
