Creationist Ken Ham slams Miley Cyrus for her belief that Noah's Ark is a 'fairy tale'

Creationist Ken Ham hopes that Miley Cyrus, who professes that Noah's Ark is an insane 'fairy tale', would one day repent her sins and be saved by God. (Twitter)

Creationist Museum CEO Ken Ham is speaking out against Miley Cyrus' anti-Christian rants on Paper Magazine, urging the singer and actress to repent for rebelling against God.

On his Answers in Genesis blog, Ham lamented that Cyrus is shaking her fist against God and promoting sexual perversion by saying that Noah's Ark was "insane," calling it a "fairy tale" that people should outgrow just like they did Santa and the tooth fairy.

"It becomes very obvious that it's not just the biblical accounts of the Ark and Flood in Genesis she is dismissing, but she is rejecting our Ark of salvation—Jesus Christ," he wrote. "Really, Noah's Ark is a picture of salvation."

And even though Cyrus praised her parents during the interview and professed to be the "least judgmental person ever," her other statements only contradicted these claims, Ham said.

Cyrus' parents are Christian conservatives who oppose same-sex marriage and the LGBT community. That's why many people were shocked when their daughter came out cursing Christians, particularly Christian lawmakers who, she said, should not be making laws.

"Of course what she means is that she wants to make her own 'laws,'" Ham said. "And she uses her 'laws' and beliefs to judge Christians as her aggressive judgmental attitude toward Christians is so apparent, though in reality it is really about her attitude toward God and His Word."

Cyrus further said that she's "down with" anything, as far as sexuality and gender is concerned. "I am literally open to every single thing that is consenting and doesn't involve an animal and everyone is of age. Everything that's legal, I'm down with," she said during the interview.

But Ham asked, why not involve an animal? "Besides, if there's no God and she's just a result of evolution, then she is merely an animal anyway," he said. "And those she interacts with sexually are just animals—so why not any animals? In other words, she has decided to draw a line for some reason—but what reason? It's actually because in her heart she knows God exists. She knows she is different from the animals as she is made in God's image—and she has a conscience (as seared as it is because of her sinful rebellion) because the law is written in our hearts."

Ham expressed fears that a lot more people may abandon their Christian morality just like Cyrus. He prays that one day Cyrus will repent and be saved.
