Dallas Cowboys trade rumors 2018: Trade with Seattle Seahawks could happen; Strong contender named

Fans of National Football League's (NFL) Dallas Cowboys are in for a wild ride this year's NFL season, as a player trade with the Seattle Seahawks might happen and could even be necessary for their team.

The said player that could make or break their team this upcoming NFL season is none other than Seattle Seahawks' safety Earl Thomas. Thomas is quite ripe for the taking and just became so recently after the Seahawks also gave away similarly good players such as Michael Bennett and Richard Sherman this offseason.

Moreover, Michael Silver of NFL Network also confirmed that the Seahawks are also open to the possibility of trading Thomas to another team. Though the Seahawks might not be looking to give Thomas away too easily since Silver also mentioned that they are looking for the most they can get out of Thomas' trade in terms of veteran safety.

Thomas also expressed interest in moving to the Cowboys, so all that is left is for the Cowboys to make the move and cook up a deal with the Seahawks, whatever it may be. This could require some extensive contract manipulation for both parties involved, but in the end, will benefit the Cowboys greatly since they are in need of a much-improved secondary for next season. Thomas is also arguably the best safety for NFL at the moment.

This rumor that Thomas wants in on the Cowboys began as early as last year when he told "If y'all have the chance, come get me," to Cowboys coach Jason Garrett in the locker room. This gave a strong indication to the public that Thomas may indeed be heading for the Cowboys' camp next season, depending on the decision of the Cowboys. Additionally, Thomas also declared that he would not return to the Seahawks without having security.

Whatever the case may be for Thomas and the Cowboys, fans should stay tuned for news on both as more rumors and confirmations are bound to emerge.
