The Dallas Cowboys will look to continue their winning streak against the New York Giants, which started in 2013, when they host them at the AT&T Stadium this Sunday.

New York has not defeated the Cowboys since they last did it in 2012; they lost in their last four meetings after that.

In their past two meetings, which took place in the 2014 season, the Cowboys outplayed the Giants' defense scoring 31 points in each of those two games.

The Cowboys will try to do the same on Sept. 13 and will be led by the offensive tandem of quarterback Tony Romo and star wide receiver Dez Bryant.

Romo played in 15 games last season, completing 304 passes of his 435 attempts for 3,705 yards and 34 touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Bryant, who suffered a hamstring strain early last month, is not expected to miss Week 1 action and returned to practice last Wednesday.

Early in the offseason, Bryant was in a contract dispute with the Cowboys but it was resolved when he was signed to a huge five-year deal last July.

Bryant will be key to the Cowboys' success this season as last year, he was one of the reasons why they returned to the playoffs after a four-season absence.

The two-time Pro Bowler played in 16 games last season, having 88 catches for 1,320 yards scoring 16 touchdowns.

Meanwhile, the Giants will be led by quarterback Eli Manning, who already led the franchise to two Super Bowl victories both against the New England Patriots (XLII, XLVI).

Manning played in 16 games last season having 379 completions for 4,410 yards and 30 touchdowns.

Like his rival Romo, Manning will also have a trusty receiver in the young Odell Beckham Jr. who will be entering his second season.

Beckham played in 12 games last season and had 91 receptions for 1,305 yards and 12 touchdwons.

One of Beckham's receptions last season was arguably the best catch in the history of the National Football League (NFL) when he received a throw from Manning one-handed while leaping backwards to the end zone for the touchdown despite being fouled.

But a looming issue for the Giants is the availability of defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul who suffered hand injuries because of a fireworks accident on Independence Day and is having a bit of a contract dispute with the team.

The Giants are aiming to return to the playoffs after missing it for the past three seasons following their Super Bowl XLVI victory.
