The adventure visual novel-type video game will see eight new characters, the largest bunch yet to be added. To note, previous updates only brought in four characters each time. The game will introduce Korekiyo Shinguji, Tenko Chabashira, Kirumi Tojo, Maki Harukawa, Kaito Momota, Himiko Yumeno, Angie Yonaga, and Ryoma Hoshi.

Korekiyo is a well-traveled anthropologist who has found a deeper understanding for the "beauty of humanity" in his travels. The character also seeks to find beauty within. Thus, he observes how his classmates exude beauty in their own way.

Tenko is Neo-Aikido martial artist, who developed this new form of aikido with her master. She is an androphobe who cannot stomach a single compliment from a man. Compliments from women, however, are a different story. This martial artist is hot-headed and short-tempered and loud.

Kirumi is dubbed as the Ultimate Maid, who is known for fulfilling requests down to a tee. Her devotion prompts her to serve her classmates at the academy. She, however, will never perform any requests made by corrupt people.

Maki, the Ultimate Child Caregiver, was raised in an orphanage where she earned her title. Caregiver is not a role she would have wanted for herself. While children may be fond of her, she cannot stand kids. When it comes to her classmates, Maki barely cooperates.

Kaito forged documents so she could take the exam for the astronaut training program. She passed the test, but her forgery was later discovered. Despite that, she was allowed to continue the program because of her brilliance. Kaito has high regard for dreams and passion.

Himiko is the Ultimate Magician, who hides her real magic with petty coin tricks and card games. This magician is pretty lazy.

Angie, dubbed as the Ultimate Artist, believes that her god, Atua, is responsible for her talent.

Ryoma, a talented tennis player, ruined his shot at success when he used his skills to murder members of a crime syndicate. For a teenager, Ryoma is mature for his age.

For the uninitiated, "Danganronpa" follows the lives of these students, imprisoned in a school. Players must solve murder cases and find the suspect within the class.

"Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony" will launch in North America this Sept. 26, while Europe will be able to play the game starting this Sept. 29. The upcoming title will premiere on PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PCs.
