'Days of Our Lives' spoilers, recap: Ben informs Abigail that he wants them to move

Thursday on "Days of Our Lives," Jennifer dropped by Daniel and Nicole's place, and she gave them an engagement present. She said she hopes that they will be happy. The two were grateful, and they were surprised when they heard that Ben and Abby are engaged, too. Jenn asked to talk to Nicole alone, and Daniel left. The ladies talked about the things Nicole had done in the past, and Jenn said that she's learning to let go. She said that Nicole should also try to forgive herself. Both of them agreed to try to be friends again.

Serena joined Eric at TBD and he told her that he wouldn't forget what he did for Caroline. She downplayed it and told him that she loves him. He reminded her that it's over. Serena thought that he still loves Nicole. He wished her the best and hoped that they could be civil with one another.

At the Kiriakis mansion, Theresa called Eve and told her that Brady allowed her to stay. Theresa thought that Brady might be open to them having a relationship again, but Eve didn't agree. Brady arrived, and they hung up. Theresa told him that she wanted to talk about Tate's schedule, but Brady said that she should discuss it with Emma and that he didn't want to talk to her.

At TBD, Daniel walked in just as Eric hugged Serena. Serena asked Daniel about Caroline and told him that Eric hugging her means that he doesn't hate her anymore. She asked him not to tell anyone that she played Eric's confession for him, and Daniel said that it will stay a secret and she hugged him, just as Nicole walked in.

Here's what to expect on "Days of Our Lives" on Friday, Aug. 14: Ben informs Abigail that he wants them to move; Paul confronts Will; Adrienne advises Sonny on his marriage; Roman discovers JJ's secret.

"Days of Our Lives" airs from Monday to Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
