Denver Nuggets vs. Dallas Mavericks live stream: Watch NBA 2015 basketball online

A Western Conference matchup of two teams currently riding losing streaks will take place today, Saturday, when the Denver Nuggets pay the Dallas Mavericks a visit at the American Airlines Center. 

The Nuggets lost their last five games, with the most recent a 91–80 defeat to the San Antonio Spurs at home last Friday.

Italian forward Danilo Gallinari stood out in the defeat versus San Antonio as he provided a double-double performance for Denver, recording 16 points and 10 rebounds as well as two assists. 

Helping him were the only other Nuggets players to score in double-digits, forward Will Barton and veteran point guard Jameer Nelson, who each scored 12 points coming off the bench.  

The defeat to the Spurs gave the Nuggets a 6–10 record for the 10th spot in the West, with their record identical with the Houston Rockets and the Portland Trail Blazers. 

Meanwhile the Mavericks, who are having a great season overall, have dropped their past three games, with their last defeat also suffered against the Spurs (88–83) last Wednesday. 

Offseason signed guard Wesley Matthews led Dallas in the defeat, scoring 15 points that came along with four rebounds, one assist, and one steal. 

Veteran forward and franchise player Dirk Nowitzki had a double-double 13 points and 14 rebounds, also recording two assists and one steal. 

The Mavs also had a bright spot from the bench as point guard Devin Harris added 11 points and three rebounds in a losing cause. 

Despite the three-game losing skid Dallas is currently in, the team's 9–7 record is enough to place it on the fourth spot in the Western Conference standings, with the three teams above it being the Golden State Warriors (17–0), Spurs (13–3), and the Oklahoma City Thunder (11–6).
