Goku and Android 17 will team up to fight a bunch of thieves. Meanwhile, Gohan later asks for Piccolo's guidance and for the latter to train him in preparation for the upcoming tournament.

On the next episode of "Dragon Ball Super," titled "Hunt the Poachers! Goku and No. 17's United Front!!" an unexpected alliance between Son Goku and Android 17 will occur after the artificial human declined to join the tournament.

"When Goku asks 17 to join the tournament, he turns his offer down. The two then sense something approaching and see a spaceship in the dark sky," the synopsis reads, according to Comicbook.

As seen from the episode 87 promo, Goku and No. 17 will be teaming up to defeat a group of thieves that has taken the Minotaurus. It appears that Goku offered to help Android 17 in getting back the Minotaurus, and he is hoping that the android will still change his mind about the tournament.

Meanwhile, Gohan will be the focus of episode 88, titled "Gohan and Piccolo: The Master and Disciple's Intense Training to the Limit!"

According to Blasting News, Piccolo will promise Son Goku that he will train Gohan to prepare him for the upcoming Tournament of Power. However, there are speculations that Piccolo might not be the best mentor to train Gohan for the tournament.

Fans of "Dragon Ball Super" has taken note of numerous other candidates that can train Gohan into becoming a powerful contender in the Tournament of Power. However, there was also a time when Gohan had become a strong Saiyan after Piccolo pushed him to his limits during training.

This indicates that Gohan can still become stronger than ever under Piccolo's wing. However, fans will have to wait until the episode to find out if Piccolo can unleash Gohan's full potential.

"Dragon Ball Super" airs every Saturday night at 7:15 p.m. CST on Crunchyroll and 11:30 p.m. EDT on Adult Swim.
