"Counting On" star Derick Dillard, wife of Jill Duggar, was booted out by TLC after he made comments about the transgender star of "I Am Jazz," Jazz Jennings.

Dillard was accused of bullying Jennings when he posted on Twitter (@derickmdillard), "What an oxymoron... a 'reality' show which follows a non-reality. 'Transgender' is a myth. Gender is not fluid; it's ordained by God."

People got upset by his tweet and accused Dillard of making un-Christian comments. "I think it's absolutely absurd that you publicly proclaim yourself to be a Christ follower, but then you spread a message of hate on Twitter," a netizen wrote.

"You know what's an oxymoron? Someone of faith being nasty, a bully, judging another person then making mean spirited comments towards a child," another added.

TLC promptly issued a statement after Dillard's tweet and said that "the network has no plans to feature him in the future. We want to reiterate that Derick's personal statements do not reflect the views of the network. TLC is proud to share the story of Jazz Jennings and her family and will continue to do so."

After TLC released the statement, Dillard no longer commented about it but simply wrote on Twitter: "Thank you to all those who have supported us and given us so many words of encouragement recently. God bless you all!"

He also posted several tweets about proclaiming the truth, and how Christians are persecuted for being its messengers. "'A false witness will perish, but the word of a man who hears will endure.' (Proverbs 21:28)," he tweeted. "Amazing how much we exchange truth for a lie in society these days. Be unique; seek out and never settle for anything less than the truth in every situation."

After a netizen suggested that he remove himself from social media since "people do not like you," he also replied. "If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. -Jesus Christ"
