After the mystery of Maundy Thursday, the agony of Good Friday and the emptiness of Holy Saturday, we have finally come to the day of resurrection – Easter Sunday.

He is risen! He is risen indeed!

Put yourself in the place of the disciples beginning to hear the rumours. It must have seemed far too good to be true. The resurrection appearances begin, with Mary at the tomb, soon followed by Peter and John. The travellers on the road to Emmaus get let in on the secret – as Francis Spufford puts it – that 'far more can be mended than you know'.

Traditionally, 'Hallelujah' is neither said nor sung during Lent, so this playlist features plenty of opportunities to sing it! There is celebratory music aplety to help you mark the day.

Here is the fourth of four Passion playlists from Christian Today. It features Christian artists like Gungor, Crowder and Tim Hughes alongside secular artists such as The Stone Roses, Bruce Springsteen and Johnny Cash. We have had playlists for the last three days – what better way to welcome in the dawn than with celebratory music from across a range of styles...

Here is the playlist embedded from Spotify (if you don't have Spotify you can download it for free):
