Eminem new album 2016 'Infinite' news, song updates: First album celebrates its 20th anniversary; producers Bass Brothers revisit album that will go digital

Eminem's debut album — titled "Infinite" — recently marked its 20th anniversary. Executive producers of the album revisit and remix the debut album's tracks and will make it available on digital release.

"Infinite" is Eminem's debut studio album that was released in November back in 1996. It was released under the Bass Brothers' record label called Web Entertainment, and was executive produced by Mark and Jeff Bass themselves.

"Infinite" was often overlooked by Eminem's following album — titled "The Slim Shady LP" — that was released in 1999, according to Billboard.

The Bass Brothers first discovered Eminem when Mark heard him on the radio doing an open mic in Detroit and instantly felt amazed at his talent. 20 years later, the Bass Brothers revisit the album and create remixes of Eminem's first album songs to pay tribute.

According to Rolling Stone, Jeff wanted to have a version of "Infinite" with no samples included and having applied their approach to Eminem's songs for the past 17 years. The Bass Brothers applied techniques they used on the rapper's iconic songs such as "Lose Yourself" to the debut album's songs and replayed most of them on live instruments.

Jeff shared his opinion of Eminem's "Infinite" album 20 years later.

"Well, the songwriting is amazing back then. It's like any artist just starting out. If you ever listen to Michael Jackson before he was Michael Jackson or Prince, they were younger-sounding, but you can tell there's something there. Obviously, the fans who will purchase this particular project will get it. They'll understand why. ... When I hear Eminem from 20 years ago, I can hear Eminem today. I can hear the nuances in his tone, and his rhythm was insane, and this is him starting out as a kid. We recognized that there was something there that was special. Obviously the world ended up agreeing with what we were feeling," Jeff explained.

The revisited "Infinite" album will be available on digital soon, with limited-edition 7-inch singles, but no release date has been announced yet.
