The Lyons are in for another tragedy in the next episode of "Empire" season 3.

The synopsis for the episode titled "Chimes at Midnight" revealed that the Empire Entertainment will be hacked. This will cause a lot of trouble for the entire Lyon family, as well as their artists. But this could be the least of the family's concerns since the trailer showed an internal conflict that is brewing within the music industry's notorious family.

Based on the trailer, Cookie Lyon (Taraji P. Henson) seems to be contemplating on her possible future with Angelo Dubois (Taye Diggs) because of her tumultuous past with Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard). She could either cut off her blossoming relationship with the rich New York councilman for the sake of her family.

But her middle child Jamal (Jussie Smollett) noticed that Cookie is not happy, which is why he will assure her that she can talk to him anytime through a new song that he wrote.

However, Jamal's decision to absorb all the problems of his dysfunctional family seems to be taking a toll on him. In the last moments of the promo trailer, Jamal is seen taking a large dose of medicine, which could mean that he is trying to end his life. His new lover D-Major (Tobias Truvillion) is also seen trying to wake up the unconscious Jamal.

The synopsis for "Empire" season 2 episode 6 reads: "Empire is hacked and the leak creates feuds between artists and among the Lyon family. Andre takes advantage of the leak to step up and prove his worth to the company. Meanwhile, Lucious continues to try and drive a wedge between Cookie and Angelo, and Jamal finds himself in a love triangle."

The episode is slated to air on FOX on Wednesday, Nov. 16, at 9 p.m. ET.
