The first trailer for "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" finally dropped and many fans noticed an Easter egg in the video. Will the upcoming prequel feature Professor McGonagall?

Potterheads around the world were rejoicing last Dec. 15 when the trailer premiered, as they have been without a new movie since the 2011 release of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2." What excited them even more was a very short part of that video.

Hearing Eddie Redmayne's Newt Scamander utter the words "Lumos Maxima" was enough to spark loyal fans' hearts. But fast forward to the 01:20 mark, and that spark could turn into a full-blown flame.

That part of the trailer turns black and switches to Newt Scamander and Dan Fogler as Jacob Kowalski (the first muggle main character in the whole Harry Potter franchise, says Entertainment Weekly) engaged in a magical battle. It was all pretty exciting, but a possibly familiar voice uttering "Mister Scamander," is what's breaking the Internet these days.

According to Moviepilot, some fans are surmising that the voice is Professor Minerva McGonagall, the iconic Gryffindor Headmistress portrayed by Maggie Smith in the "Harry Potter" series.

While many are convinced that it is her, a few details about the professor may shatter any hope that fans have. Professor McGonagall was born on Oct. 4, 1935, according to the Harry Potter Wiki page, while the Harry Potter prequel film is set in 1920s New York — which means there is no way for her to join Redmayne and company.

Redmayne, though, will be joined by multiple female characters, any of which could have been the voice in the clip. Completing the list of the movie's main characters are sistersTina (Katherine Waterston) and Queenie Goldstein (Alison Sudol).

Find out whose voice was heard in the trailer when "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" debuts on Nov. 18, 2016.
