'Farming Simulator 19' news: First screenshot revealed for upcoming game

Promotional in-game screenshot for "Farming Simulator 19" Farming Simulator

"Farming Simulator 19" is slowly growing up in popularity, as the farming game's developers have just unveiled the first glimpse of the upcoming game.

Series developer Giants Software has just revealed the first screenshot for "Farming Simulator 19," showing off how far the series has come in terms of graphics. The screenshot was taken in-game and showed off a large farming machinery cruising around a field basked in dynamic and volumetric sunlight. If the developers do not change anything come the game's release, the final version could be expected to look like that in the screenshot.

What makes "Farming Simulator 19" unique from its 18 predecessors apart from graphics is that the developers promise a lot of new features for the game that were not present in the previous iterations. As such, the game will allow players to "farm like never before" and boasts one of the richest and most complex farming experiences ever, digitally of course.

This time around, Giants Software also had to revise the graphics engine of the game in order to produce something competent for today's standards. The result was quite beautiful and will probably make "Farming Simulator 19" one of the most relaxing gaming experiences — a welcome prospect in today's roster of games full of stressful or tedious mechanics.

At the moment though, the developers are keeping things buried for "Farming Simulator 19," though they will probably reveal something big during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2018 which takes place in June.

Apart from farming (harvesting, planting, tending, etc.), players will also be given the chance to raise livestock on their farms which range from poultry to dairy and piggery. With this, "Farming Simulator 19" is set to be a complete 360-degree farming experience without the hassles of land and taxation issues associated with real-life farming.

No exact release date has been announced for "Farming Simulator 19," but the game is expected to arrive sometime by the end of 2018. The game will also be available for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 (PS4) and the PC.
