There are still a lot of unanswered questions as to the nature of the plot that will be taking place in the upcoming eighth installment in the "Fast and Furious" franchise, "Fast & Furious 8." The upcoming movie, also being referred to as "Fast 8," will reportedly be featuring the return of the entire cast of characters along with some new faces that will surely add some more excitement into the mix.

As it stands, the full cast of characters has already been revealed by the show's producers. The usual suspects, who are part of the main "Fast and Furious" roster, are of course already expected. The main characters include Dom Toretto, Mia Toretto, Tej Parker, Letty Ortiz, and Roman Pearce. The characters will be played by Vin Diesel, Jordana Brewster, Ludacris, Michelle Rodriguez, and Tyrese Gison, respectively. Diesel himself confirmed that the people who has been involved with him throughout the previous movies are considered to be family to him and that they are always assured of a role in any new "Fast and Furious" movie.

Since the tragic death of Paul Walker who played the character Brian O'Conner, there have been some speculations on whether or not the production team would once again feature the character using CGI effects. Several reports have claimed that this may be very likely as O'Conner's character is still pivotal in the group's overall dynamics.

Aside from the main cast, Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham are also going to be reprising their roles as Hobbs and Deckard Shaw, respectively. Statham will also be joined by veteran actress Helen Mirren who will be playing his mother in the new film. Several new faces will also be cast in the new movie, including Scott Eastwood and "Game of Thrones" actor, Kristofer Hivju.

"Fast & Furious 8" is set to for a worldwide premiere on April 14, 2017.
