Square Enix has confirmed that a Day One patch will be coming together with the release of "Final Fantasy XV" today.

In its official website translated by Nova Crystallis, the publisher has detailed all of the changes coming out together with the Crown Update, the first major patch for "Final Fantasy XV" rolling out immediately after its launch.

Most of the changes and improvements for the game are the hefty tweaks for the battle system. The gameplay for the interface has been one of the highlighted features for the upcoming game, and Square Enix incorporated the changes after feedback from fans on the title's previously-released game footages and the beta demo versions.

Aside from tweaking battle interfaces like adding actions and other exclusive abilities to Wait Mode, the Day One patch also tweaks the battle design, adding more battle screen effects and integrating details on the counters and gauges themselves. This way, players can check out information at a quick glance and even during heated battles.

In addition, the battle and game interface will also incorporate new event scenes taken from both the new "Omen" trailer, and the game's tie-in movie, "Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV" to make a more seamless story, so that players new to the game will immediately be aware of the events between the two franchise installments.

Aside from the battle interface, the Crown Update also adds major improvements to the field, events, and menu design for the game. It also has hot fixes for known issues and bugs, as well as auto-balance features for side quests.

In an interview with Game Informer, Square Enix has previously laid out in general what the Day One patch will entail. A studio spokesperson stated, "The Crown Update is the result of some additional time for development since mastering the full game and provides a variety of updates, minor bug fixes and new features to greatly enhance the overall story and gameplay experience."

"Final Fantasy XV" launches today for the Xbox One and PS4.
