Former '16 and Pregnant'  reality star Farrah Abraham announced in a recent interview that she plans to write a Christian parenting book.

Abraham said she felt inspired to share her Christian journey with others, especially parents.

"If I could say that through a type of Christian parenting book, I think that's something that wouldn't hurt them, it would help them and their children," she told In Touch.

"It would give them a kind of support and guide to use throughout their journey in life together and I would just be happy to share that."

Abraham gained fame when she was cast in the MTV reality shows "16 and Pregnant" and "Teen Mom" – chronicling the lives of teenage unwed mothers. Abraham's daughter, Sophia, is now four years old.

As "Teen Mom" came to a close in August 2012, Abraham released a memoir, "My Teenage Dream Ended." The book detailed her troubled upbringing, the death of Sophia's father, and other difficult life events, and reached number 11 on the New York Times Best Seller list.

In addition to the Christian parenting book, Abraham announced that she will be releasing a collection of adult novels in a series called "Celebrity Sex Tape".

The reality star is controversial as she released an adult video of her own under the guise of a leaked tape last year, but later admitted that she hired an adult film star and sold the footage to Vivid Entertainment herself. Abraham released another adult video in February 2014, and has a line of adult products coming to stores this year.

The 22-year-old told In Touch she tries to find time for worship services.

"I go to church as often as possible and I have great Christian friends — and those aren't the ones who say they're Christian and then act like other," she said in an In Touch interview.

"I have to say faith is a big part of my life. I'm not perfect; that's just life. There really is no perfect Christian."

Abraham also plans to release more literary works.

"I'm just continuing working on more books, like going into paranormal... I'm truly growing myself as an author," she told Starcasm.

"I want to be very good at my imagination and then fiction writing [is] just something I'm pretty proud of now."
