Franklin Graham praises Mike Huckabee as a 'man of integrity' as GOP bet quits race

Reverend Franklin Graham has time and again said that he is not endorsing any candidate for the 2016 presidential elections. In fact, he even withdrew from the Republican Party late last year to be able to concentrate better on his Decision America Tour.

However, when Republican presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee suspended his campaign recently, Graham could not help but commend the Christian politician.

"After last night's Iowa results, former Governor of Arkansas Mike Huckabee has pulled out of the 2016 presidential race," he writes on his Facebook page. "I've always thought highly of Governor Huckabee – he's a man of integrity with strong moral character. I hope he will continue to speak into the political process of this nation and keep working to make a difference for the future of America. Thanks Governor Huckabee!"

Huckabee drew a lot of flak for his association with the Duggar family from "19 Kids and Counting." During his visit to Clinton, Iowa, a woman publicly chastised him for supporting Josh Duggar even after reports came out that he allegedly molested four underage girls when he was just a teenager, including his sisters Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald.

Huckabee then answered that it is an "abominable practice to abuse a child," adding that abortion is the worst kind of child abuse simply because it is "irreversible."

According to him, Josh's victims were "maliciously and savagely abused," and explained that he was sympathetic towards the family because they were going through a difficult time.

Unfortunately for him, the woman was relentless in her verbal attack against him and Huckabee eventually lost his temper. "You have no idea what you're talking about. You don't know that family. I've known them since they were babies and you don't!" he snapped at the woman, before telling her to "stop talking about them (Duggars) unless you personally know them!"
