The hit horror film "Friday The 13th" is getting its own game adaptation and players are getting excited over the multiplayer  aspect of the title. The game title even has a rumoured mode that will allow gamers to use Freddy to defeat the infamous Jason.

"Friday The 13th: The Game" is a horror game that has been highly awaited by fans of the "Friday The 13th" film franchise that was initially released a few decades ago. "Friday The 13th" tells the story of the infamous killer named Jason who is out to kill people staying at Crystal Lake.

In "Friday The 13th: The Game," players will have the option to take on the role of a counselor at Crystal Lake or the infamous hockey-masked killer Jason. The game will feature 11 different camp counselors with varying skills.

If a player chooses to become a counselor, the main goal would be to team up with the other counsellors to defeat Jason. On the other hand, players who choose to become Jason will have to defeat all 11 counsellors at Crystal Lake.

Though it may seem like players who choose to play Jason are at a disadvantage, Jason's character possesses a set of enhanced skills that makes him a lot stronger than each of the counselors and a lot more difficult to kill.

On another note, recent speculations suggest that the game will be having a Freddy VS. Jason mode where Freddy will possess the same level of skills that Jason has. However, this is still unconfirmed, and players might have to wait until the game's release to find out if there is such a mode.

As of now, there is still no official news as to when "Friday The 13th : The Game" will be released, but recent speculations suggest that the game will be out in the market in the early months of 2017.

"Friday The 13th: The Game" will be available for Xbox One, Microsoft PC, and PlayStation 4.
