'Frozen 2' plot rumors: Hans returns as a changed man and Anna becomes the villain?

Fans just can't wait to know all about Elsa and Anna's next adventure in "Frozen 2." The sequel to Disney's animated blockbuster hit won't be here in a couple of years but there are already speculations about what it will be all about.

Earlier reports hinted that Prince Hans, who betrayed the heroes in the original film, will return a changed man. A new rumor suggests that Anna will then be the one to serve as the villain in the much-awaited movie.

Word on the street is that Anna will discover in "Frozen 2" that she also has powers. It is unclear if they will be the same as that of her sisters but whatever they will be, she will reportedly use them to terrorize Arendelle.

Interestingly, there is also a speculation that Anna and Elsa's sisterhood will be fortified in the film and they continue to have each other's backs. In fact, the sequel might even see them perform a duet, which is expected to be the new "Let It Go," which became a trademark for the first film.

According to Movie News Guide, co-director Chris Buck wants moviegoers to feel like they are on a rollercoaster of emotions when they watch "Frozen 2." The viewers will laugh, cry, fall in love and become angry as they watch the film.

Buck believes that to pull that off, he will use the power of music, much like how the first film captured the hearts of many with the Idina Menzel hit. The director also thinks that writing a great story involving its much-loved characters will do the trick.

"We have two very strong female leads in 'Frozen. We will keep that going in the next one," Buck told MTV. "We will tackle other issues that, I think, are out there today that boys and girls, men and women, are dealing with," he added.

"Frozen 2" is expected to be released in 2018.
