'General Hospital' spoilers: Nelle, victim of a murder mystery?

Just when Nelle (Chloe Lanier) has already made enough enemies since arriving in Port Charles, "General Hospital" spoilers indicate that she will make even more foes than friends in the coming episodes. It is safe to say that hardly anyone trusts her, which also makes it hard for her to get a job.

While Nelle gets more desperate, she might find herself digging her own grave in the process. For some time, the show was trying to show everyone that while Nelle can be quite manipulative, she also has some good to her. She seemed to really care about Michael (Chad Duell) which made her want to be a better person. However, old habits die hard, and it is the case for Nelle. Now, it seems like the show is scrapping any good qualities that this character might have in her and Nelle is now being shown as a ruthless liar who would do anything to save her own skin.

This could prove to be crucial as her story arc progresses. Usually, when the show's characters hit rock bottom, the end is nigh. Could a murder mystery be the way out for Nelle? There would be a lengthy list of suspects if so. Nelle could regret making as many enemies as she had. If she does end up six feet under, there are of course, some suspects to consider.

For starters, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) is an easy suspect, because he has already threatened Nelle before. He will not hesitate to use deadly force if he wanted to get rid of her. This also brings Nina (Michelle Stafford) into the equation as well. Should Nelle cross the line again, that especially puts Nina's family at risk, Nina might snap. Carly (Laura Wright), Sonny (Maurice Benard), and Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) are also obviously included. They straight up do not like her.

Maxie (Kristen Storms) could also be a suspect. Nelle might come after her baby after faking a pregnancy or suffering a miscarriage after really getting pregnant. The anger she would feel could cause her to kill Nelle off. Of course, Michael could also be held responsible. He might reach his limit if Nelle schemes again. There is also Sharon (Brea Bee), who might be coming back to Port Charles to seek vengeance on her.

Then again, Nelle might get into an accident that could be mistaken for murder. But that would still leave Nelle's enemies in the hot seat.

"General Hospital" airs Mondays to Fridays at 3 p.m. EST on ABC.
