The "Gilmore Girls" Fan Fest 2017, a three-day whole day event in the popular Stars Hollow, will bring all the fan-favorite characters to life. The festival will bring some of the show's stars and will give an opportunity for the fans from different places to gather, share their thoughts about the series, and celebrate its success.

For the dedicated fans of the dramedy and coffee-lovers, it is time to pack their bags and head back to Kent, Connecticut. In two weeks, the festival will bring all series to life. It will offer a jam session with Gilmore Musical God Carole King's daughter, Louise Goffin, lots of coffee, a cake-tasting event, and more.

The "Gilmore Girls" Fan Fest was made by co-creators Marcus and Jeannie Whitaker in 2016. They established this event to let the show's fans get a chance to spend days living like their favorite characters. In a released statement, Marcus explained, "Last year we received an abundance of praise from everyone involved, from the fans to the cast, which made the decision to put on this year's festival easy for us."

He further explained, "Jeannie and I have learned a lot from our time in Connecticut and for us, anytime you can have fun while learning something new you've done the right thing."

The festival is scheduled to begin on Oct. 20 and will culminate on Oct. 22 in Kent, Connecticut — the town that inspired the show's creator Amy Sherman-Palladino in making the fictional place, Stars Hollow.

Jeanie chimed in to say, "Putting on an event that provides a light-hearted, joy-filled weekend for others and allows us to celebrate a lot of really talented people we admire is really rewarding in itself, but at the end of the day I'm a fan too so that's what makes this opportunity really special."

Meanwhile, the official website for the event noted that Kent, Connecticut will be the best place for those fans who want to be part of a town that boasts of its gazebo, a diner, dance studio, antique shop, bookstore, and an inn. For more information about the festival, check this link.
