"Grey's Anatomy's" 13th season is heading for a quick breather but before the show goes on hiatus, it seems that the upcoming episode might feature someone serving time behind bars.

The ninth installment titled "You Haven't Done Nothin'" could showcase Dr. Alex Karev, played by Justin Chambers, going to prison after he was slammed with assault charges courtesy of Dr. Andrew DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti).

According to reports, Alex has been contemplating about his career as a medical practitioner as well as his future since he is expecting that he will be locked up for quite some time. If so, his reputation as a doctor will definitely be affected. Spoilers suggest that the doctor will arrive at a decision that will affect the people around him, most especially Dr. Jo Wilson, played by Camilla Luddington.

Meanwhile, reports also suggest that an influx of casualties is set to overwhelm the doctors of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital as the collapse of a nearby establishment will put them on high alert. It was also said that amid the chaos, Dr. Eliza Minnick, portrayed by Marika Dominczyk, might serve as a hindrance for the others in treating more victims inside their hospital.

Fans can still remember that during the previous episode titled "The Room Where It Happens," a patient believed to be involved in a vehicular mishap was rushed inside the operating room. The doctors who attended the procedure were advised to use Minnick's approach in order to fix and seal up the patient. In the episode, the doctors encountered tragic memories from their past which resulted in a bit of confusion on what to do with the patient. Luckily, the patient survived and was taken to intensive care afterward.

Be sure to catch season 13 of "Grey's Anatomy" airing every Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
