"Grimm" will be airing its sixth and final season in January 2017. Fans are speculating that the series creators will bring closure to the story and its characters. However, there are also rumors that the show may have a spin-off and the series finale could pave the way for it.
The final season will only bring 13 episodes to the table, which is significantly less than the previous season that has 22 episodes. Fans can then expect that everything will be fast passed and will start immediately with the stick that Nick (David Giuntoli) and Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) the last time. It is then speculated that the stick will bring chaos to Nick's life instead of one similar to a fairy tale.
According to IB Times, series fans went into panic mode when the Twitter page of the show posted the note that was featured during the 19th episode of the last season. It was between Nick and Adalind Schade (Claire Coffee). It reads, "I'm doing something I have to do. I don't expect you to ever understand, but it's the only way to protect my children. And I don't expect you to believe this, but I love you. I'm sorry."
Fans were very eager to know the reason behind it. Some believed that it teases them of the things to come between the two and solidifies their true love for each other. "Nadalind" fans have been requesting the series creators to reunite them on the last season.
Meanwhile, a report from Mobile and Apps suggests that a spin-off series may arrive after the series finale. It is said to focus on the Wesen couple and their hybrid child, who is believed to be more powerful than the children of Adalind.
Months ago, diehard fans of the series started a petition for Netflix to take over the show. It has gained more than 11,000 supporters but failed to rattle any cage. Netflix has kept silent all this time.
