'GTA 5' DLC release date: 'Biker' DLC may be pushed back

Grand Theft Auto V Rockstar Games

The GTA 5 Online Stunt Race Tool was made live today, and this means great news for gamers on Xbox One, PS4, and the PC, since they will no longer have to wait for a separate download to keep up with the latest update. On the subject of the Stunt Race Tool, the official website of Rockstar Games states: The official launch of the Stunt Race Creator tool will harness the talents of the amazing Creator community to usher in a whole new era of player-made mayhem.

Some of the features that this new tool supports include new speaker props including thunder, animal roars, and guitar sounds. Movie News Guide reports that players can even choose their preferred intensity from among the following options: weak, normal, strong, extra strong, and ultra strong. With the new Stunt Race tool, gamers can even delete existing props.

While today's update does possess some exciting props and features, fans of the game who were anticipating the Biker Gang DLC are no doubt a little disappointed. This is perhaps because of the speculation that the current release may mean a delay in the forecasted Biker DLC. The Biker-themed content was expected to be made available parallel to the launch of the last bit of content from Cunning Stunts.

But it seems like the Biker Gang DLC will not be far behind. Nevertheless, fans who yearn for this content are doing their bit, as this iPetition page demonstrates. The petition, framed by a group of over 70 biker crews, stated in their application, "We have been ignored long enough, and we feel it's time our needs are respected. What we ask for, we do not expect for free, as our dedication and love of this game can be portrayed in our willingness to pay for such a long overdue DLC content update for the GTA V online mode."
