Fans have been waiting for new information on the sixth installment of the "Grand Theft Auto" series for some time now. However, until the creator Rockstar announces concrete locations for this sequel, fans will only have to listen to rumors about the franchise. According to N4bb, it seems like the new location might be set in either San Fierro, or Las Venturas.
Rumors suggest that this new "Grand Theft Auto" installment will include something related to the prequel: "GTA: San Andreas" was never actually able to successfully complete its map, which suggests that the developers were planning to extend this only in the next installment for the franchise. The "missing piece" in the previous game's map might be the ideal location for its sequel.
MNR Daily mentions that other rumors say the game could feature Liberty City. Other speculations, on the other hand, believe that the new location would be Japan. Another circulating rumor is that it would have a female as a main character this time.
Christian Daily reports that Rockstar North might be facing some difficulty with this game's development, since their former director, Leslie Benzies, filed a lawsuit against them for withholding his share of the profits from the "Grand Theft Auto" projects. If Benzies keeps pushing for his claim on the "Grand Theft Auto" titles, this might mean that this will impact all future developments on anything related to "Grand Theft Auto".
"GTA 6" is rumored to be out in 2018 on the PS5 and Xbox Two consoles.
