Despite the draw, Guatemala did a pretty good job matching up against the Mexicans who are one of the favorites to win the title this year.

Mexico had a number of attempts where they came close to scoring but Los Chapines' defense managed to hold firm to get the clean sheet.

The only goal scored by Guatemala in the tournament so far is from former Major League Soccer (MLS) forward Carlos Ruiz.

Ruiz scored in their tournament-opener loss against Trinidad and Tobago with a goal in the 62nd minute.

Meanwhile, Cuba aims to break a losing streak following tough defeats in this year's campaign.

Los Leones del Caribe has yet to score a goal following a 6-0 tournament opener loss against Mexico and a 2-0 setback against Trinidad and Tobago Sunday.

Cuba handed Trinidad and Tobago their second win in the 2015 Gold Cup, helping them advance to the knockout stage after conceding two goals.

Defender Sheldon Bateau and midfielder Andre Boucaud scored for Trinidad and Tobago to put away the Cubans.

Guatemala will have a complete squad fit when they take on Cuba, who oppositely have a few issues regarding their players.

In a report by the Associated Press, midfielder Arael Arguellez defected ahead of their match Sunday.

Arguellez is already the second player from Cuba to leave following forward Keilen Garcia who abandoned the squad before the match against Mexico.

Along with this issue, Cuba also faced visa problems that caused head coach Raul Gonzalez Triana and a number of players to arrive late, missing their tournament opener.

The match between Guatemala and Cuba will take place on July 15 at 6 p.m. EST and will be shown on Fox Sports 2.  The game can be watched online through live stream by clicking here.
