In the next episode of "Happy!" Detective Meredith McCarthy (Lili Mirojnick) and Amanda Hansen (Medina Senghore) look for clues regarding the disappearance of the latter's daughter.

The promotional photos and sneak peek for the upcoming installment, which is titled "Year of the Horse," were just released recently, and they show McCarthy and Hansen visiting a couple whose kid also disappeared at a "Sunnyshine" show.

They listen to the parents' testimony about what happened. Apparently, their son was mysteriously taken without them looking, and now, they are caught in this dire predicament. Later, McCarthy abruptly leaves to go home, but Hansen stops her. The detective turns around and tells her, "I get it. I do. But I can't investigate every family that has a missing kid on the off-chance that whoever gave you the card is just going to show up."

All of a sudden, a guy on a motorcycle shows up in front of the house and takes out a red card. Apparently, he is going to give the card to the parents of the missing kid. Hansen also received one recently when her own daughter disappeared. As the man gets off his vehicle, McCarthy and Hansen look at each other in disbelief and realize that they can catch the man and interrogate him. It remains to be seen what they will do after seeing the potential suspect in front of them.

In the last episode, Very Bad Santa (Joseph D. Reitman) was able to find ex-cop Nick Sax (Christopher Meloni) who was looking for Hansen's missing daughter. Santa approached Sax and immediately beat him up and threw him around the lot. Sax was not able to put up much of a fight as he was a bit intoxicated.

"Happy!" season 1 episode 4 will hit the airwaves on Wednesday, Dec. 27, at 10 p.m. EST on the Syfy channel.
