The bond between Steve McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) and Danny Williams (Scott Caan) will intensify in season 7 after a life-threatening situation that happened in the sixth season finale of "Hawaii Five-0."

At the end of the episode, McGarrett suffered from fatal injuries that punctured his liver after the plane that they were riding was attacked by a helicopter while he and Danny were going undercover to pin down the drug lord named Dae Wan (Sung Kang).

Danny volunteered to donate his liver after revealing that he and McGarrett have the same blood type. But even if Danny managed to save McGarrett's life, the arguments between the two will continue in the next installment of the police procedural series.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Peter M. Lenkov said that the incident will further strengthen the attachment between the two.

"It brings Danny and McGarrett even closer together and it gives them another thing to be arguing about next year," Lenkov said. "I love the idea that McGarrett is going to abuse that organ, because McGarrett is a person who abuses himself and puts his life in danger all the time. Danny is going to resent the fact that he saved his life because of that. These guys are blood brothers, but now literally they are."

Lenkov mentioned in a past interview with the publication that "Hawaii Five-0" season 7 will also deal with Chin's (Daniel Dae Kim) possible adoption of Gabriel's (Christopher Sean) daughter next season and the possibility of proposing to his girlfriend Abby (Julie Benz).

"We start the season, [and he's] living with her. It's going in that direction for sure. I want these people to be happy, because they've become my family, too. And the same way with Kono (Grace Park) and Adam (Ian Anthony Dale) getting out of prison. I do want these people to be happy," the executive producer added.

"Hawaii Five-0" season 7 is slated to premiere on CBS this fall.

The quiet judgement on the UK

The judgement of God has finally come upon the United Kingdom. Quietly. Silently. Like a thief in the night. It came in the form of an irrational, emotive and Godless parliament who this week voted to permit the killing of babies in the womb up until birth, and has now introduced the National Suicide Service, with its vote to permit assisted suicide. God has given us what we voted for.
