'Heroes of the Storm' news: 'Lunar Festival' event coming

 Battle Net

The second installment of the "Lunar Festival" will be starting soon inside "Heroes of the Storm."

The upcoming event, which is set to start on Jan. 27, will be adding a variety of new items to the game.

First off, players who log in to "Heroes of the Storm" and take part in 10 games during the event will be rewarded with a new "Lunar Festival" portrait.

Players who want to unlock the new portrait can take part in any kind of match aside from custom games, as those will not be included in their tally, according to VG 247.

Aside from the new portrait, there will also be additional skins and even one mount that will be introduced into "Heroes of the Storm" via the "Lunar Festival" event.

Starting with the new skins, both Chen and Li Li are getting additional looks courtesy of the new event.

Both the Elder Chen and the Festival Li Li skin will be made available to "Heroes of the Storm" players, and they will cost $9.99 each.

Players can also acquire the new skins via purchasing bundles.

The "Lunar Festival" Skin Bundle contains the two characters as well as an additional Lunar Tiger Mount that players can buy for $22.47, according to Battle Net.

For those who may also be looking to get the characters along with the skins, they can purchase the "Lunar Festival" Complete Bundle. This bundle contains Chen and Li Li along with their event skins and the mount. The "Lunar Festival" Complete Bundle will be available for $32.96.

Unfortunately, players looking to get the Lunar Tiger Mount on its own will not be able to do so as of yet.

The only way to get the new mount for now is through purchasing the bundles as well, although it will be made available on its own later on.

The "Lunar Festival" event in "Heroes of the Storm" will end on March 3.
