Taiwanese smartphone producer HTC is rumored to be preparing a new flagship phone for their fans, and it might be announced just before the year ends.

HTC has easily become one of the top smartphone producers in the market today. HTC phones have become well-known for their impressive camera features, their clean HTC sense user interface, and their Beats integrated headphones and speakers.

As for the upcoming HTC 11, the Taiwanese company has not yet announced any official news as to when the device will be announced or what the device's specs and features will be. However, this hasn't stopped several rumors from spreading around the internet.

The HTC 11 is speculated to come out to the market with a 5.5-inch display that has a similar feature to the latest Samsung flagship phones, a dual edged screen. The HTC device will probably have a 2560x1440 high resolution dual edged screen, rumors suggest.

The upcoming HTC flagship smartphone is also expected to continue the integration of boom speakers to its unibody design for an enhanced music and sound experience. The device will also include a USB-C type port in place of the previously used micro USD port. What's more is that the new HTC 11 is rumored to be dustproof as well as waterproof.

As for the HTC 11's camera, the device is expected to come out of the box with a 12-megapixel and 8-megapixel dual rear shooters couple with a wide-angle 8-megapixel front facing camera for selfies.

The phone is also said to come to the market with a staggering 6-gigabytes of RAM, and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 processor .

As of now there is still no official news from HTC as to when the HTC 11 will be released, but since the HTC 10 was just released earlier this year, speculations suggest that the HTC 11 might be announced before 2016 ends, and will be released sometime in 2017.
