The brand new, next generation iPad Mini 5 is speculated to hit the stores in September 2016. This is indeed very good news for iPad fans who have been dying for a latest version of the product since a very long time. Apple's loyal customers are really going to like this new release.

With rumors rife that Apple is all set to cut the ipad down to just 5mm of thickness, tech wizards believe that would mean getting rid of the headphone jack. Also, it is expected to host the A9 processor which is much more efficient and offers even better graphics than its A8 predecessor. Also making the news are hints that the new iPad Mini 5 could have a 3D Touch sensitive screen.

There is however much argument going on as to whether this iPad Mini 5 really has anything substantial to offer that is better than iPad Mini 4. This is bcause other than being thinner and having a better processor, there doesn't seem to be much of an improvement. Also given that there are rumors that the device will have a much less powerful battery and the same screen resolution and camera quality.

However since the new ipad is expected to come with iOS 10, that might bring in a wide range of new features that will make people wan to buy it. One of these features could be the ability to use the screen in dark mode. Besides, fans are also eagerly praying for more storage capacity as 16GB is no longer enough.
