Cupertino tech giant Apple recently held an event where they introduced their latest MacBooks and iMacs, but unfortunately, there was no mention of the highly-awaited iPad Pro 2 that was rumoured to be launched at the same event. Because of this, recent speculations suggest that the new Apple tablet might be launched in early 2017 instead.

Apple recently unveiled their latest MacBook Pro at their recent event, and the newest entry in Apple's line of powerful laptops had innovative features — including a new OLED touch panel — that has left many Apple fans in awe. However, fans who were aiming to get information regarding the iPad Pro 2 were left disappointed as the device was not mentioned at the event.

Recent speculations suggest that the delay of the iPad Pro 2's launch was due to hardware manufacturing issues since Apple plans to create a powerful successor to the iPad Pro. Unfortunately, the right hardware for the device is still unavailable.

Furthermore, recent speculations suggest that the tech giant will be releasing three variants of the iPad Pro 2 in 2017. Apple will be launching a new 9.7-inch base model, a medium sized 10.5-inch model, and a large 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2.

Rumors also suggest that the 10.5-inch iPad Pro 2 and it's larger 12.9-inch variant will have a powerful A10X processor, while its smaller 9.7-inch variant will have a less powerful A9X processor. It is also speculated that because of Apple's choice of processors, the iPad Pro 2 launch will be delayed until 2017 since chip manufacturers still haven't moved down to 10nm.

As of now there is still no official news as to what the iPad Pro 2's features, specs, and hardware will be. There's also no official news about the Apple tablet's official release.

However, rumors highly suggest that the Apple tablet will be launched in the first quarter of 2017.
