A redesigned look of the next-generation iPhone 8 has been leaked through the web, revealing several speculated features. Meanwhile, KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicts supply bottlenecks for the new iPhone 8.

Tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer of Onleaks collaborated with MySmartPrice, who have access to the exclusive renders of the upcoming next-generation iPhone, to release first-look images of the redesigned iPhone 8.

Based on the images, it appears the new iPhone 8 will have an AMOLED display with extra slim bezels and a glass black chassis. Given this design, it is anticipated the iPhone's security feature, the fingerprint scanner, will be embedded within the display or incorporated inside the Apple logo.

With the AMOLED display maximized, Apple has yet to reveal where the 3D phone sensors and the dual rear camera will be placed.

However, it is not yet confirmed whether this new look will be owned by the next-gen iPhone 8, or become an updated iPhone 7s or iPhone 7s Plus look, since Apple is still trying out different prototypes for the next-gen iPhone.

Meanwhile, KGI predicts that Apple will have supply bottlenecks for the new iPhone 8.

Kuo released another research note predicting there will be supply and production difficulties with the upcoming iPhone 8 that will cause delays in its launch and a reduction in shipments, according to reports.

If this is true, Kuo predicts the production of the new iPhone 8 will begin only in October this year, pushing the next-generation iPhone to launch next year.

Despite a possible delay in launch, one thing iPhone users and investors alike can look forward to in the next-gen iPhone 8 is the speculated 3D sensor that will enhance user experience.

The new iPhone 8 is anticipated to be launched in September this year.
