'It just fell out of the womb': 9th sting video shows how Planned Parenthood easily gets intact foetuses from mothers

The anti-abortion group Center for Medical Progress (CMP) has released a new video, the ninth in the series, that describes how easy it is to obtain intact foetuses from mothers, which are then sold by abortion service provider Planned Parenthood to medical researchers.

"I literally have had women come in and they'll go in the [operating room] and they're back out in three minutes — and I'm going, 'What's going on?'" says Perrin Larton, procurement manager for Advanced Bioscience Resources Inc. (ABR), in the video. ABR is a contractor for Planned Parenthood.

The video shows Larton talking to CMP undercover agents posing as executives of a new human biologics company.

"Oh yeah, the foetus was already in the vaginal canal whenever we put her in the stirrups," Larton says. "It just fell out."

ABR was founded in 1989 by its CEO, Linda Tracy, and charges $340 per second-trimester foetal tissue specimen, regardless of its quality, Larton says in the video.

"Whenever we have a smooth portion of liver, we think that's good!" she says.

Planned Parenthood once again denied accusations by CMP that it is engaged in the business of selling baby parts.

"The video released today is not about Planned Parenthood. Staff from two independent health care firms that work with medical providers and research institutions appear to discuss their policies and practices. Multiple times in this video, staff from independent health care firms appear to say that Planned Parenthood is not interested in any financial gain and adheres to ethical standards," said Planned Parenthood Vice President Eric Ferrero Tuesday, according to CNN.

However, the video shows Dr. Katharine Sheehan, the medical director of Planned Parenthood San Diego clinic until 2013, affirming that ABR has been a contractor for Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest for years.

"We have already a relationship with ABR," Sheehan says in the video. "We've been using them for over 10 years, really a long time, just kind of renegotiated the contract. They're doing the big collections for government-level collections and things like that," she added.

When the CMP undercover agent tries to negotiate fees with Sheehan, she says, "We return a portion of our fees to the clinics. Right, get a toe in and make it, make a pro — all right."

David Daleiden, the CMP founder, said the latest video is another proof of Planned Parenthood's illegal and sordid business. "In the twisted world of baby-parts trafficking from Planned Parenthood abortion clinics, there are few unbroken rules," he said. "It is imperative for lawmakers and law enforcement to act decisively to determine the full extent of Planned Parenthood and their proxies' lawbreaking, hold them accountable, and stop the taxpayer funding of these barbaric atrocities against humanity."

Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood has sent a letter to Congress to defend itself from CMP's allegations.

It said only two of its 59 affiliates are currently involved in foetal tissue research but added that it is actually "proud to have a role in foetal tissue research."

The American Center for Law and Justice, however, said the letter shows "nine shocking practices" of Planned Parenthood.

Among these "shocking practices," Planned Parenthood finally admitted in its letter that abortion is the core service it provides along with birth control, breast exams, pregnancy testing and identifying and treating STDs.

Planned Parenthood also acknowledged that nearly 20 percent of its affiliates, or about 100 sites, have been involved in selling baby body parts over the last five years.

The abortion service provider also admitted that it receives "$60 per tissue specimen," and that the prices increase when a baby is dissected and his or her organs are sold.

The company also claimed that federal law requiring consent for foetal tissue donations is "not applicable" to them.
