Jana Duggar left in charge of caring for her niece Meredith while baby's father and her brother Josh is in rehab

While her brother Josh is completing his stint in the rehab facility Reformers Unanimous, the eldest Duggar daughter Jana, sometimes called the "Cinderella Duggar," has been given the responsibility of caring for Josh's infant daughter Meredith Grace.

"It's absolutely ridiculous how much the family makes Jana and the older siblings do things," a source confided with Radar Online. "(Her parents) Jim Bob and Michelle have totally transitioned a lot of their parental responsibilities onto her. Ever since she was young, she's had to watch over the house while Jim Bob and Michelle would go out for date nights alone."

Aside from caring for her siblings and their babies, Jana has been given the responsibility of cooking, cleaning, and sewing, among other things.

"She looks so tired and worn down sometimes. You can't help but feel bad for her, having to take on all that responsibility at a young age," the source added. "It's like she's been a parent ever since she was 13! It's sad."

Jana's younger sisters Jill and Jessa have already found husbands and moved out of the house, but Jim Bob, who has been strictly monitoring all of his children's romantic interests, seem unable to find a suitable match for Jana. The "19 Kids and Counting" patriarch insisted that he does not play matchmaker for his children, but he does make suggestions on who would be a suitable match for them.

"Jana is one of the prettiest girls in the world and one of the sweetest girls," Jim Bob earlier told PEOPLE. "There have been a lot of guys who have been interested in her, I have gone to hear about each one, and so far she hasn't felt that is the way the Lord is leading."

For her part, Jana is in no rush to find a partner and get married. "We've always gotten different ones asking, 'When is it going to be your turn? When is it your time?' " she said. "I just think for me I am just waiting and we'll see. When God brings that one along it will be his timing."
