As if being caught in between two hot men is not enough, Jane (Gina Rodriguez) goes ahead and makes the love competition more interesting by cuddling with her English professor in the upcoming episode of the hit The CW series "Jane the Virgin."

In "Chapter Thirty-Three," TV Guide reports that Jane's first awareness of her growing feelings for Prof. Chavez (Adam Rodriguez) starts with having an odd dream about him. In the past, all she sees in the debonair professor is that he is keen on making her school life hell. He is constantly urging Jane to do her best with her writing, which she finds taxing and annoying at the same time. Their first meeting did not exactly go well.

At the moment, Jane is busy trying to decide whom she will choose between Rafael (Justin Baldoni) and Michael (Brett Dier). The latter appears to be leading the race, as Mateo's daddy has done a lot of mistakes during the holiday season. But now that she is starting to acknowledge that she actually likes Prof. Chavez, will this affect her choice? Should Jane start calling him Jonathan?

In the promo, Xiomara (Andrea Navedo) is advising her daughter to look for signs and how to properly respond to them. The scene cuts to Jane and Jonathan standing close together, when she remembers that she left her phone in the car. He responds by placing his hand on her waist and telling her he will walk her there, as he needs some air.

When they are standing beside the car, Jonathan appears to be leaning in to open the door for Jane, but she mistakes that as a sign to kiss. When Jane decides to go for it, her lips lands on his collarbone, while Jonathan appears confused. Perhaps, Xo should lie low in advising Jane, and focus on Rogelio's (Jaime Camil) proposal. The man is finally ready to pop the question, but something will happen that makes him forget everything.

Mateo will reportedly swallow the ring. Instead of celebrating with a candle lit dinner, it looks like the family is headed to the hospital emergency room. Will the baby be okay?

"Jane the Virgin" season 2 airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.
