Jane's (Gina Rodriguez) crush on her handsome professor continues to deepen. In fact, she will even ask her mother Xiomara (Andrea Navedo) for some advice on how to deal with her feelings in the upcoming episode of the hit The CW series "Jane the Virgin."

In "Chapter Thirty-Four," Spoilers Guide reports that Jane is pondering on whether or not to take the plunge and bring her budding romance with Jonathan (Adam Rodriguez) to the next level. She wants Xo to tell her if she is rushing things, considering that they just went out for dinner once. Last episode, Jane was mortified when she thought she misread Jonathan's signals. When she decided to give him up as her advisor, Jonathan surprised her by asking her out on a date.

The promo for episode 12 shows how they have progressed from a simple student–professor relationship to a couple smooching in public. In the clip, Jane is gazing deep in Jonathan's eyes while they are waiting for their dinner. Next thing viewers see, Jonathan is telling Jane they should come to his place. What happens next is a hot make-out session that leaves Jane breathless. There is just a tiny setback that the new couple has to deal with. Jane informs Jonathan that she is a virgin because she made a promise to her grandmother. Jonathan just looks confused with the whole thing.

With Jane now entirely focused on her romance with Jonathan, does it mean Rafael (Justin Baldoni) and Michael (Brett Dier) are out of the running for her heart? According to spoilers, there will be a wedding soon with Jane as the bride. Her groom, of course, still remains a mystery. Fans are already divided between Team Rafael and Team Michael. In the past, Rafael seemed to have the upper hand, considering he is the father of Jane's child, but he is now showing much attention to Petra (Yael Grobglas). Michael will reportedly return to town soon as he needs to talk to Jane about something important.

Will she change her mind about Jonathan once she sees how her ex-fiancé still cares about her?

"Jane the Virgin" season 2 airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.
