Jessa Duggar has just announced that she is expecting her second child with husband Ben Seewald sometime next year.

With babies on her mind, the "Counting On" star and Spurgeon Elliot's mother shares with Us Weekly the three important things she cannot leave home without. The first of these is her son's baby blanket. She says it not only keeps her infant warm but also has many other uses.

"It doubles as a nursing cover because it's so lightweight," she says. "They're also super absorbent, so they're handy for use as a burp cloth and for wiping up spit-up."

The second most important thing for Jessa when going out with Spurgeon is the baby carrier, which she always keeps in her bag so she can use it any time she needs both of her hands free.

"It looks sort of like a wrap, but it's way less complicated because it slips on like a T-shirt. This is my favorite carrier to throw on for a quick run into the grocery store, or that moment when you're at the airport and don't have enough hands for baby and bags," the 23-year-old mother explains. "It's supercompact and I always keep it in my diaper bag."

Lastly, Jessa says she always makes sure to bring some toys and books along whenever they go out so Spurgeon will be entertained. "I keep a rattle and teething ring in the diaper bag, as well as one of his favorite board books. These are great to keep him occupied when we're out and about," she says. "His favorite toy is a little stuffed giraffe! He loves to chew on the antlers. He plays with it all the time, and it keeps him entertained indefinitely! We always make sure Mr. Giraffe comes with us for car and plane trips."
