It might be conservative and trivial for most people to remember but Derick and Jill Duggar celebrates the one-year anniversary of their first meeting.

The 19 Kids and Counting married couple shared their joy through social media on Tuesday.

The couple were beaming as they shared a photo together. The 23-year old Jill posted the photo on Instagram and proudly wrote a joyful caption to her almost one million followers.

"A year ago today my best friend made it home from Nepal @derickdillard Today I'm married to him and 32 weeks pregnant with our little man!" Jill shared.

Their first embrace marked the start of their quick journey to the altar. Shortly after, the couple married and are now preparing for their first bundle of joy.

Jill quoted a verse from Psalms and added, "We've been abundantly blessed this last year and are SO grateful to God!"

The 25-year old Derick equally shared their joy on Sunday as he shared a photo where they first embraced after returning from a missionary work in Nepal.

"Then we were courting, now we're expecting our firstborn son in just 2 months! God is so good! #blessed #jilldillard #babydilly," he wrote in the caption.

The conservative religious Duggar family believe that couples who are seriously considering marriage can only date in a group setting that includes their family members as chaperones. The Duggars take chastity to the highest standard by allowing the couples to hold hands for the first time only after their engagement. The couples' first kiss should be on their wedding day.

Derick and Jill got married last June and announced they were expecting after two months. They shared their first kiss in front of 1,000 family members and friends at the Cross Church in Springdale, Arkansas, just three months after their engagement.

The couple are expecting a baby boy on March 24. The couples' announcement to their family will be featured in the next episode of the reality TV show 19 Kids and Counting.
