Joy-Anna Duggar's pregnancy is being surrounded by controversies. Since the "Counting On" star and her husband, Austin Forsyth, announced that they are having a baby, fans cannot help but think that she conceived before marriage.

It has been known that it is a great sin for the Duggar family to get too intimate with their significant others, especially before marriage. So, as some people now think that Joy-Anna has conceived before she got married to Forsyth is quite a big scandal.

In a Reddit thread, fans are analyzing Joy-Anna's date of conception from the photos she has posted on Instagram. User awkward_thunder enumerated that she has been married for around 12 weeks, her announcement was made on Aug. 30, but her post already contained the baby's developments -- like fingerprints and brain waves.

It has been said that a fetus would not reach these developments until 25 or 26 weeks of gestation. So, it is assumed that Joy-Anna had conceived even before she got married to Forsyth.

On the other hand, another Reddit user named goldenw defended Joy-Anna. The user said that her baby's development might not be based on "real medical facts." As the "Counting On" star is just 19 when she got married and has been pushed to parenthood early, she actually knows nothing about pregnancy. With that, she might just be basing her baby's developments with some apps or books that do not give accurate results.

To recall, Joy-Anna and Forsyth got married in May 2017. After three months, in August, the couple announced that they are already having a baby. Although the announcement was just accompanied by her photo holding a bowl of ice cream with a note "eating for two," her next pictures showing her baby bump surprised everyone.

In a snap she shared on Oct. 1, she showed her baby bump in a mirror selfie and it is bigger than expected. In fact, the photograph's comment section is full of her followers arguing about her pregnancy. Joy-Anna is expected to give birth in February or March 2018.
