Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez and Hailey Baldwin spotted at Hillsong LA

The faith of Justin Bieber and his on-off girlfriend Selena Gomez has been making headlines lately and both seem to be finding a spiritual home in Hillsong.

The latest sighting was reportedly on Sunday, at Hillsong LA, although they were not there together.

The sighting is a little sketchy. Hillsong LA posted a photo of the service to its Facebook page and two figures seen from the back, standing in the front row directly before the stage, are identified by Hollywood Life as Justin Bieber and his friend Hailey Baldwin.

Their faces cannot be seen in the picture but Hollywood Life says it identified them from other pictures it had seen of the pair walking around LA earlier in the day, in which the clothing and hat both match.

Hillsong LA holds three services on Sunday, at 11am, 4:30pm and 7pm, and Gomez was reportedly spotted by fans at the church on the same day.

Gomez was reportedly seen standing in the front row too with friend Gigi Hadid, but not with Bieber and Baldwin, making it possible they were at different services.

Bieber has been in the headlines as much for his music as his behaviour, but it looks like the global pop star is trying hard to turn a new leaf.

He is good friends with Hillsong pastor Carl Lentz and was reportedly "baptised in a bathtub" by him during the summer. According to TMZ, the baptism took place in the tub after they failed to find a church where the ceremony could be conducted privately.

Recently, there have been reports of Bieber being on a spiritual retreat and he was recently pictured reading the book Occupy All Streets, the study guide to a programme taught by Lentz aimed at teaching students "to see themselves how God sees them, as agents for change in His kingdom".

Lentz has previously said of Bieber to CBN: "I love Justin, he's a good kid. He's trying to figure this out ... People who are like, 'Is he even a Christian?' With Justin, I tell people grace and acceptance does not mean approval. I can accept you as a human being and not approve of your actions. That's how we've been loved. We love because we were first loved..."

He added: "With Justin, it's not my job to be his police officer. It's my job to be a friend to him, and that's all I am."

Gomez has been very public about her Christian faith, regularly sharing Bible verses with her Twitter followers and recently posting a picture of herself to her Instagram page reading her Bible.

Back in October, she shared a picture with her Instagram followers of Hillsong LA pastor Reed Bogard on stage with the worship team.
