Katy Perry Grammy Awards 2015 performance video: Watch 'By the Grace of God' online

Katy Perry took to the stage at the 57th Grammy Awards with a performance of her new song 'By the Grace of God' off of her Grammy nominated album 'Prism.'

Katy Perry has been nominated for two awards this year: Best Pop Due/Group Performance for 'Dark Horse' and Best pop Vocal Album.

The singer had performed a rendition of 'Dark Horse' during last year's Grammy Awards, which received criticism for displaying dark satanic imagery, including witchcraft and demons.

Perry was dressed as a witch and wore a Knights of Templar cross across her chest during the performance. She also pole-danced on a broom, and was finally burned at the stake towards the end of her controversial ensemble on the awards show, which is watched by families across the world.

The singer's dark performance had shocked many, even prompting E! News to tweet: "Um, did we just witness actual witchcraft during Katy Perry's #Grammys performance?"

The 30-year-old, who was raised in a strong Christian household, told Marie Claire in its December 2013 issue that she is no longer a Christian and does not believe in heaven or hell. She had indicated that she does believe in God but that she does not associate with any religion.

Perry said, "I'm not Buddhist, I'm not Hindu, I'm not Christian, but I still feel like I have a deep connection with God. I pray all the time — for self-control, for humility. There's a lot of gratitude in it. Just saying 'thank you' sometimes is better than asking for things."

Katy Perry was formerly known as Christian artist Katy Hudson.

The 57th annual Grammy Awards took place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Feb. 8. A live broadcast is available on CBS Television Network between 8 p.m. to 11.30 p.m. ET.
